In this video, I'm testing some $1.50 USD carbide inserts that were supplied by a gentleman representing Banggood, an Asian web based trading company. I got to chose the tools and make an evaluation of the products, also evaluated in this video the appropriate holder to use the 100 degrees angles on the CNMG inserts, with this holder you get to use an extra four edges on the inserts... My opinion about the inserts is that for general use in the shop those inserts represent an excellent value as for price vs quality, I wouldn't recommend them in more specialized or extremely demanding machining situation.
